Parking Fees and Permits

- A parking fee applies to vehicles parked on UOW grounds at all times during paid parking hours. By parking on UOW grounds, you agree to pay the parking fee as advertised on any parking control sign.
- You may pay a parking fee by:
- a. using a voucher vending machine (pay and display) - where indicated by a parking control sign; or
- b. paying online using the vPermit system (to eligible persons); or
- c. paying online using the Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) parking system, both online parking systems are managed by CellOPark Australia Pty Ltd on behalf of UOW.
- If you pay for parking by vPermit or PAYG, it is your responsibility to:
- a. register online and pay the relevant parking fee; and
- b. select the “active” vehicle that you have parked on UOW grounds. If the correct vehicle is not selected, your vPermit is not valid and a penalty infringement notice may be issued.
- vPermits must not be sold, transferred or shared between drivers.
- If paying for parking using a vPermit, you must ensure your vPermit account details are correct (including your vehicle registration number, address and mobile number). All information collected via the vPermit parking system will be handled by CelloPark in accordance with their privacy policy found at https://vpermit.com/privacy-statement/.
- vPermits issued to eligible staff members may be paid for by salary sacrifice and the deduction will continue until the permit is cancelled by the permit holder.
- vPermits paid for by payroll deduction are paid fortnightly in arrears and no refund will be made, unless required by law. Deductions will continue until the vPermit is cancelled.
- UOW reserves the right to cancel or revoke any permit or permission to park on UOW grounds, or deny vehicular access to UOW grounds, in accordance with the Campus Access and Order Rules or other applicable UOW policy (as may exist from time to time).
