Trucks, buses, trams, tractors, or boat and caravan trailers are NOT eligible for a permit.

The below Terms and Conditions specifically apply for use of vPermit - Northern Beaches Council’s digital parking permit system- hosted by Smarter City Solutions.

• Applicants are responsible for creating online accounts and applying for parking permits, along with payment of Fees and Charges (where applicable).
• Permit holders are responsible for renewing permits where applicable. Advance notice of permit expiry is provided by email from vPermit.
• Northern Beaches Council may restrict access to vPermit, or immediately cancel existing permits, where behaviour is detected that is considered either a misuse of the system or a breach of the Terms and Conditions relating to the relevant permit type.
• Infringement notices may be issued to vehicles not linked to a valid parking permit in vPermit. All Infringement reviews are managed by Revenue NSW.
• Refunds may be approved in exceptional circumstances at Council’s discretion, in accordance with Australian Consumer law. To apply for a refund, visit: Northern Beaches Council Parking Permits. The payment surcharge of 0.5% incurred by Council in accepting card payments online is not refundable.
