While parking at Melbourne Polytechnic - the following conditions apply.
- Parking at Melbourne Polytechnic is undertaken strictly at the owner's risk and for Melbourne Polytechnic business only.
- A parking fee applies to vehicles parked at Melbourne Polytechnic campuses at all times during the paid parking hours.
- Parking fees can be paid in the form of an Melbourne Polytechnic permit or using Melbourne Polytechnic PAYG parking permit system - CellOPark.
- Vehicles displaying a category 1 disabled permit and that are parked in a disabled bay do not have to pay for parking.
- Purchasing a permit does not guarantee a parking space.
- If you bring a vehicle into an Melbourne Polytechnic car park, you agree to pay the parking fee as advertised.
- Melbourne Polytechnic are not liable to you or any other person with you for
- Injury to you or anybody else
- Damage to, destruction of, theft of or unauthorised delivery up of your vehicle or any other vehicle whether authorized or not;
- Damage to, destruction of, theft of or delivery up of any property (including in or on your vehicle or any other vehicle); however caused, and you release and indemnify us from any claim which might otherwise have against us.
- You agree to indemnify us in respect to damage to, destruction of, theft of or any other claim made against us and any expenses incurred by us as a consequence of, in relation to, or in any way arising out of your use of this Car Park.
- Melbourne Polytechnic will not be liable to you for delivery of your vehicle to any person who did not have authority to take your vehicle.
- All vehicles must be parked in marked bays. Contravention will attract a parking infringement (PIN). All Melbourne Polytechnic campuses have been gazetted and sign posted as per the requirements of the Road Safety Act 1986 parking regulation.
- Drivers must observe any signs at the entrance to or within Melbourne Polytechnic car parks and must comply with directions given by any Parking or Security Officer.
- The right to park is not a condition of enrolment or employment and Melbourne Polytechnic reserves the right to deny or rescind parking provisions if circumstances require.
