Vehicles must be parked in a designated bay as entitled by their permit or PAYG session.
You are not permitted to park on verges, grassed areas, roads, pathways or any other non-designated
parking areas at any time, unless you are directed to do so by an authorised officer.
Liability
It shall be deemed to be a condition of every parking permit issued that the University is not,
and shall not, be liable or responsible in any way for the safe custody of a vehicle or its contents.
(Land and Traffic By-Laws Part 3.1.3B).
-
A parking permit gives you the right to bring your vehicle onto campus, but does not guarantee availability of a parking bay
-
You must have a current parking session or virtual permit at all times
Curtin no longer recognises other University parking permits.
After hours parking
To help make Curtin a safe place to park, the Parking and Traffic Office encourages students and staff to park in BLUE zone before 8:00am or after 4:30pm on weekdays and at any time during the weekends (excluding ACROD and courtesy bays, unless the appropriate permit is displayed).
Vehicles must still park in a designated bay at all times.
Security
We want you to not only be safe at all times, but feel safe at all times. With this in mind,
you can ask for security personnel to escort you to your car 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Call our security team on any phone (including pay phones on campus) on +61 8 9266
4444.
There may be a delay of 10 to 15 minutes before a security patrol officer is available,
but they will safely take you to your car once available.
Parking by-laws
When you bring your vehicle onto campus you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions
set out by the University's By-Laws.
